The New Mogadishu Development Corporation (NMDC) is a pioneering public-private partnership focused on transforming Mogadishu into a thriving regional hub for trade, logistics and delivering economic development for Somalia. NMDC is spearheading large-scale infrastructure projects, including the building of New Mogadishu International Airport (NMIA), the New Mogadishu Maritime Port (NMMP) and the development of a state-of-the-art Special Economic Zone (SEZ). These initiatives are strategically designed to attract foreign investment, create jobs and bolster Somalia’s economy.
